Re-Purpose Ideas For Your Consignment Shop Finds

If you have ever scrolled through Pinterest, you know there are hundreds if not thousands of incredibly creative ideas out there to re-purpose old furniture. There are many good reasons to give new life to older pieces. Consignment shops are full of great pieces at very reasonable prices. If you have seen a re-do that inspires you, check your local consignment shop for pieces to work with. Chances are you will find the perfect piece or even get inspired with an original idea all at great prices!

Quality

The old saying “they don’t make ‘em like they used to” is never more true than when referring to furniture, the quality of older furniture can’t be beat. If your re-purpose project requires cutting, gluing or painting, you want to make sure the piece you’re starting with is made of solid wood, not particle board.

Uniqueness

Even if you have been inspired by pictures from the internet, when you re-purpose a vintage piece, you are sure to end up with a one-of-a-kind piece that will make your home as unique as you and your family!
